Once you’ve identified a niche that fits the requirements above, head over to online marketplaces like Amazon and ClickBank to discover a good-looking product to sell that is positioned and promoted in a way that alleviates people’s suffering in a particular area of their life or company. Not just any nebulous suggestion that “may assist you,” but the solution to someone’s problem should be what you’re offering. Your life will become much more straightforward because closing the sale won’t be as difficult. Either a tangible product or an information product is acceptable.
Then, look for someone you believe capable and reliable to upload the code that Amazon or ClickBank supplied you to your website or blog on eLance, Craigslist, or your local teenager. Lastly, make it simple for customers to purchase. If you have a business account with PayPal, I highly recommend using their incredibly user-friendly merchant service integrated into their platform. You paste the code they provide for a lovely yellow “Purchase Now” button into your website (or have your “internet guy or gal” do that for you, like above). Then, either PayPal will process all the major credit cards for you and send you the money, or individuals can pay you via PayPal. This saves you the significant headache of setting up a merchant account before knowing if you will do any meaningful business! Also, because PayPal is owned by eBay and completes many transactions successfully each day, most customers now trust it. So, that also enhances your credibility.
